You have questions. We have answers.

When does the Brit Milah traditionally take place?

The Brit Milah is traditionally performed on the eighth day of the baby's life. This includes Shabbat and Jewish holidays, provided the baby is healthy and has been cleared by a physician or the mohel.

Where can the ceremony take place?

The ceremony is versatile and can be held in several locations: your private home, a synagogue, or a banquet venue. Rabbi Mordechai regularly serves families across Miami, Aventura, Boca Raton, and all of South Florida.

Does the baby experience pain during the Brit?

Ensuring the baby's comfort is a top priority. Rabbi Mordechai utilizes 20+ years of expert surgical experience and can apply a topical or local anesthetic if requested. Most babies remain calm and soothe almost immediately after the procedure.

What do we need to prepare for the day?

You will need ritual items like kosher wine and a Kiddush cup, along with practical baby supplies. Once you reach out via WhatsApp or email, Rabbi Mordechai will provide a complete, simple checklist to ensure everything is ready for a perfect ceremony.

Do you work with interfaith or diverse families?

Yes. Rabbi Mordechai is honored to serve all Jewish families—Sephardic, Ashkenazi, Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, and interfaith. He provides a warm, inclusive, and meaningful experience tailored to your family's specific needs and comfort.

What happens during the aftercare period?

Following the Brit, Rabbi Mordechai provides clear verbal and written instructions. Most babies heal exceptionally fast. He is also personally available via WhatsApp or phone for any questions that arise during the healing process.

In what languages can the ceremony be performed?

Rabbi Mordechai is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Spanish. He can conduct the ceremony in any combination of these languages to ensure that all family members and guests feel truly connected to the sacred tradition.

Are you available to travel outside of Miami?

While based in Miami, Rabbi Mordechai frequently serves families throughout South Florida, including Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. He is also available to travel to other states and internationally upon request.
